Top 10 Electrical Scooters

Electric scooters are really all the rage at the moment, and we can see why. They are cheaper than cars, more fun than walking and smaller than a bicycle.

So whether you want to go down to the grocery store, pick up a textbook from class and feel the wind in your hair, electric scooters are the way to go.

We have chosen our top 10 electric scooters of the season.

GoTrax GXL

The GoTrax GXL is one of the highest-rated electric scooters on the market. It has a 250-watt motor and a 36v battery. It can go up to 15.5 mph. Both front and rear tires are pneumatic, which makes them very shock absorbent.

It is foldable and lever-activated, which makes it great for people on the go. There are two gears on the scooter, 1st gear is a 10mph ride and second gear is 15.5 for the experience of speed.

You can also activate cruise control when you hold down the accelerator for 10 seconds to maintain your current speed. The charging time is 3-4 hours, which is relatively short. An LED display is also located on the front of the handlebars.

So you always know how fast you’re going and how much battery the scooter has left.

This scooter also has an exciting feature. It is the brake, which is a pedal on the back, which you can rest your foot on. One of the drawbacks is that it does not have a brake light to warn the people behind you.

All the reviews for this scooter are favorable, and people are getting what they pay for. The ride is always smooth, and it’s the perfect fit for all teens and adults. It isn’t too heavy and is foldable, so it fits into the trunks of the users’ car.

Reviewers praise the fact that they were able to ride continuously for up to 2 hours. Many reviewers are also saying that it’s very stylish and doesn’t look clunky like some of the other scooters out there.

The control panel is limited and only displays battery life. And when your scooter ends up dying, you can still use it as a regular scooter by kicking to move.

So you will not know any information about your range or current speed.

The only other downside that is to be noticed from customer reviews is about the airless tires.

They seem to feel rough and don’t handle bumpy rides very well. Praises are to be heard; customers really appreciate how compact it is when folded, and it is very durable.

The customer service also seems to be very good, as many users have called for part replacements and been left satisfied.

Razor RX200 Electric Off-Road Scooter

With this scooter, the ride only begins when the pavement ends. If you enjoy spending your weekends enjoying nature and discovering new places, then this is the scooter for you.

This scooter is specially fitted with off-road tires that will withstand all types of terrain and torque riding. The motor is chain-driven and has new gear. The maximum speed for this scooter is low, only 12 miles per hour.

But you must consider that this wasn’t built for speed but rather for resistance. A single charge is going to last you up to 40 minutes of continuous use. There is also a rear disc brake system.

One of the downsides is that even if this scooter is designed to withstand everything, it is not resistant to water. Getting this scooter has resulted in permanent damage to the engine or the battery. To control the speed, you have to twist the grip throttle.

The maximum weight of the rider must be 154 pounds, but according to users, it has been functional with riders of up to 180 pounds. The initial charge will take 24 hours, but afterward, only 12 hours for a full charge.

This is a significantly longer time compared to other scooters. Another drawback is that even though it is sturdy, it has been reported to be bulky and heavy. So if it dies while you’re hiking, carrying it back will be a problem.

Users have enjoyed spending time on this scooter, and the sturdy off-road wheels are something no one else on the market offers. If you’re looking for an off-road scooter, this will be perfect. If you’re looking to step into the world of electric scooters, but all the options seem scary or advanced, then this is the scooter for you. It still has the basic features but only has a battery life of up to 40 minutes on a single charge.
